Cancun's Beach Restoration

 Tourists have made Cancun the World's Primere Beach Travel Destination for the Cancun's Sun, Sand and the Sea . Every few years the Mexican Government rebuilds Cancun's beaches that like any beach are subject to the natural forces of errosion. The project costs about 10 million dollars but is totally financed by the Mexican Government because Cancun's beaches are so important to the Gross National Product of Mexico. Below are photos taken in the middle of Novemeber at KM 9.5 in front of the Palma and Girasol condominiums. The project will add approximately 90 feet or 30 meteres minimum to the width of the Beach.
