The Hacienda Punta Sam, a low-density property built in two levels, is
a beatiful hotel surrounded by tropical native vegetation on a private
beach in the heart of the Mujeres Bay directly facing Isla Mujeres. It
is only minutes away from the pier in Puerto Juarez which offers ferry
service to the island.
 
We are conveniently located approximately 25 minutes from the airport,
15 minutes from downtown Cancun and 25 minutes from Cancun's hotel
zone, with its extensive shopping opportunities and a world famous
nightlife.
 
Hacienda Punta Sam features 45 guestrooms featuring typical Mexican
decoration and tiles. Our palapa roof guestrooms are air-conditioned
and feature either two double beds or king size bed, ceiling fans and
private bath with shower. Wake up and enjoy beautiful sunrises and
feel the breeze of the Mexican Caribbean.
The hotel features a freshwater swimming pool with swim-up bar, a
children's pool plus a private dock which is very popular for boaters.

Fodor's Review:

Surrounded by trees, and set on a narrow beach minutes away from the Puerto Juárez docks, this hotel feels far away from the bustle of the Zona Hotelera. The rooms on the top floor are the most spacious, as they have high ceilings covered with thatched roofs. None of them have ocean views, but there is a nice seaside vista from the shared upper balcony that leads to the rooms on the top floor. There are no TVs or radios here, so plan on catching up on your reading and soaking up the sun. Mainly couples stay here, but children are also welcome. An all-inclusive rate is available.
