CANCUN LIFE-THE GOOD LIFE

Life in Cancun is the best life I have enjoyed. Cancun has everything: low cost of living, property taxes at least 200%
less than those in the U.S.. Better security than most U.S. Cities, very low crime. Goverenment subsidized bus system (travel over 15 miles for 50 cents and much more. The people are friendly, the climate is very good and for people with arthritis and the many pains of aging life can be pain free or at least greatly reduced.

Visas
You must have a valid passport to enter Cancun/Mexico. You will be issued a tourist visa. You can request a visa
lenght up to 6 months. At the end of 6 months you must exit Mexico (you could take a 6 hour bus ride to Belize have lunch and renter Mexico for another 6 months).

FM3
The FM3 visa is a visa many US Citizens would desire to live year-round in Cancun .
This visa costs approximately
$650 USD and can be obtained in Cancun or a Mexican Embasy located in the U.S.. If you use a Cancun attorney
they charge between $1,200 and $1,500 USD to obtain the visa.

Mexican Citizenship

Mexican Citizenship is an option that offers options and protections that are not available to the average tourist or
holder of a FM3 Visa. Just like the advantages of US Citizenship. While the U.S. does not recognize dual citizenship
there is no disadvantage to obtaining Mexican Citizenship only benefits. It does not affect your status as a natural
born US Citizen. Just like US Citizenship there are qualifications that you must pass. See the Link for more
 information.

Medical Care/ Cancun Hospitals

I returned to the US in 2002 after experiencing a heart attack. I was not comfortable with the Cancun Health Care &
Cancun Hospitals available at that time. TIMES HAVE CHANGED! There are now over 3 new quality Cancun
Hospitals that offer everything from quality emergency care to truama and plastic surgery. Some accept U.S. Medial
Care Insurance. Call and check in advance to confirm.
