Golf cart tour of the island's perimeter road (takes about 1 hour) . Travel from the ferry terminal ask South to Garrafon National park, the topography changes from sea level beauty (one of the Best beaches in the Carribean is located on the north tip of the island, Playa Norte (North Beach or Coco Beach) and drive south to walking trails blasted into coral cliffs. Spectacular views. Wear jogging shoes, hats, plenty of sunscreen, and a bottle of water.
-.
The islands dangers: THE SUN, Dehydration, falling off a cliff. If you want to take a photo, stop at Garrafon, pull over and be extra safe on the beautiful walking trails. The cousine at Villas Marlin is 5-star, mostly Italian with an emphasis on fresh sea food-the grilled lobster is the best I have tasted in the world.

3. For more casual dining near Playa Norte check out the SUNSET GRILL
The island alone is one great reason to buy a Cancun property.

One of the world's best Flameno guitarists, Juan Angeleco, calls Cancun home. He mixes Flamenco with jazz and performs at an
intimate jazz restaurant in downtown Cancun called 'Roots
". Juan and his band usually play on Friday and Saturday nights. Starting at10 PM .
5. Restaurant Sisal for good food but great performances and dancing
. Located one block South of the Kukulcan Shopping mall. Performances start at 8PM. Call for reservations and to see who is playing. Juan Angeleco plays while his beautiful wife dances. Sisal's is a dinner, dance club, it is a great room with vaulted ceilings.
Want to go fishing with one of Cancun's nicest Mayan brothers. Call Miguel and tell him Gary Kish says hello, . 9981456899.
Make sure you tell Miguel you want to use a rod. Miguel does snorkel and fishing tours but his ideal of fishing is wrapping on high test line around his hand and muscling in a 2 meter baracuda.
Beautiful Shopping, Entertainment Restaurant Center with an interactive aquarium.
The dolphin swim program here is one of the best. There is a Japanese restaurant with a glass wall backing up to the Aquarium that I hear is very nice.

When you get on the bus have your money ready and move quickly to a seat. I prefer the busses to taxis. I feel less like a tourist. If you use a cab ask the driver the cost (QUANTO QUESTO) to __________ twice before you get in. Do not tip the cab drivers. You are paying twice the cost of a local when you use the cab.
Most hotels have signs that show cab fares to popular locations.
PLAZA KUKUKCAN, THE PLAZA (MALL) DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO YOUR CONDOMINIUM. This upscale mall features everything from fast food to RUTH CRISS and interesting shops. A nice capachino bar for morning coffe.

Mexican Cousine is not my favorite but there is a great 5-star restaurant called " La Hoya" ( The Jewel) located at KM 9 in the Fiesta Americana Coral Beach.
La JoyaOffering a menu of gourmet Mexican fare, La Joya was the first restaurant in Mexico to receive the Five Diamond
award and an AAA rating for great dining. Found inside the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Hotel, you can dig into mouth-watering meals like grilled red snapper in coconut sauce and lobster quesadillas. As an added touch, there is always a live mariachi band or pianist there to entertain.
Main dishes: from $25 to $40.
Airal view of the very heart of the Cancun hotel zone near Puerto Fino Condominiums and all the best clubs and restaurants. PUNTA CANCUN (POINT CANCUN)

Roots Jazz Club was Cancun’s only Jazz Club for 15 years. It is the main spot for local and international artists to meet in Cancun. They serve up great food, great music and also provide a venue for local painters to display their talents. Jazz lovers will also enjoy the Havana Club in the hotel zone. Both of these unique clubs feature a soothing blend of Latin, Cuban and jazz vibrations.
